Summary: Unconventional Wisdom. Unbelievable Results.

Step 1

Welcome! This Course Map is going to offer you a practical and realistic solution to achieve your highest goals and dreams.

Before you can start receiving these solutions, you will need to acknowledge the problems many students face when they are asked to think about and make decisions about their future.

For a glimpse of just one of theses problems, read the following from the book 'Your Right Job Right Now':

"With my fears of abandonment and betrayal deeply rooted in the core of my being, I arrived at the university feeling completely lost. I knew only one person and had no idea what I was doing or why I was doing it. On my first day, I met with an academic advisor.
This was the second significant experience of my young career. The advisor brought me into her office, smiled at me, and asked me the big question: “So, Brian, what do you want to major in? What do you want to do with your life?”
Every cell in my body heard the question. Not one of them had an answer.
I suppose if I could have answered her honestly, it would have gone something like this:
“Listen, lady, I just got here, and I haven’t the foggiest idea what I’m doing, let alone what I want to do with my life. But if you must know, I started out wanting to be Spider-Man. Then I wanted to be a fireman. My dreams got put off when I found out I had to attend school for the next thirteen years, which is an extremely long time when you’re only five. Anyway, I didn’t do so well at school at first but then I met a great teacher named Mrs. Brown. She made me feel real good about myself and my ability to write. So I thought that I wanted to be a writer. But then fifth grade ended and Mrs. Brown was no longer my teacher. I don’t remember the names of any of my next teachers because they weren’t very good, which means school got really boring again. At that point I lost all interest in becoming anything at all, until I found out that everything counted. I was informed that if I didn’t do well in middle school and high school I couldn’t become what I wanted when I grew up. I became so afraid of being a loser I got motivated to do well in school. Oh, by the way, did I mention I haven’t seen or heard from my crazy mom in four years and that my dad sold me out for a woman with four kids? I picked a school in California to be as far from my wacked-out family as I could. I would have gone out of state, heck I would have gone out of this universe to get away from them. But the only schools I could afford are in this state. The only thing I know for certain is I want to be close to the ocean and mountains. I don’t suppose I can major in ‘I like the ocean and mountains.’ So here I am. I know one person. I don’t have much money. I haven’t had a positive thought about myself, let alone my future, in as long as I can remember and you’re asking me ‘what do you want to do with the rest of your life?’ Gee, lady, if you really need an answer I’m going to have to go with, “I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FRCKIN’ IDEA!”
Instead I sheepishly asked, “What are my options?”

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 2

Welcome! This course will transform the pages of the book, 'Your Right Job Right Now', into a step-by-step, daily practice of translating your educational experience into an exceptional career.

Each Step is designed to bring you closer to your ultimate career goal. By consistently taking one step after another, you will find yourself climbing higher toward a greater sense of achievement, freedom and fulfillment in how to think about and go about pursuing your career. However, like any mountain worth conquering, you must DO, not just read, or think about each step.

That said, are you ready to begin the climb to the top?

Step 3

Before your official 'first step', there are a few important instructions about making this climb.

First, it's very important to remain on the path at all times. To assist you, you will receive email alerts whenever you have new Navitent in your Day Plan.

Plan on committing two to three hours to complete the three new trainings you will receive each week for the next four months. Your trainings will arrive every other day, then two days off.

If you want to go at a faster pace, you can use the calendar to skip ahead. If you miss a day, you can use the calendar to return to a previous day.

Finally, if you would like to share your questions and thoughts with the publisher, use the box located at the bottom of this page.

If these instructions are clear to you, select 'Successful' and let's hit the trail.

Step 4

Webster defines 'freedom' as: "the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action"

In the space provided, describe a time from your past when you experienced the greatest amount of freedom? You can draw from your personal or work life. Be specific.

Step 5

As you think about the people you know in the workplace, on a scale of 1 to 10, how high would you rate their sense of freedom and fulfillment?

In other words, how free and fulfilled do you think most people are in their work lives? (Note: '10' equals total freedom.)

Step 6

This Navitent is going to introduce you to an entirely new reality of how you think about and pursue your goals and career.

Like Thomas Anderson (played by Keanu Reeves) in the movie "The Matrix", you are about to be given a very serious choice about the way in which you view your future.

Go to the 'Video' tab above and watch the clip, then select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 7

Morpheus explains that the Matrix is: "A prison for your mind. No one can tell you what it is, you have to see it for yourself".

Imagine, for a moment, that you are sitting across from Morpheus. He looks in your eyes and asks you:

"Tell me, how has the 'Matrix' been influencing your goals and dreams?

Write you answer in the space provided. Remember, "be honest, he knows more than you can imagine".

Step 8

Now, it's your turn to choose:

Remember, if you decide to take the blue pill, you will be able to continue to believe whatever you want to believe...

If you take the red pill, you will see how the 'Matrix' has been influencing how you think, or don't think, about your goals: just how real, how pervasive and how devious the lies that have been guiding your future are. You will be restored to the truth of who you are meant to be and what you are meant to accomplish.

It's your choice, what pill are you going to choose?

Step 9

If you chose the red pill, go to the book, 'Your Right Job Right Now', and over the next four days, read 'Mark: Welcome to Reality'.

You can purchase the book on Amazon by clicking on the website link in the Elements box above. Or, if you want to get started right away, you can go to the 'Documents' tab above and download the reading.

If you chose the blue pill, stop this course now. It will remain in your library, waiting for the day you wish to be delivered from the dark realities of a career based on lies, manipulation and control.

Remember, the next Trail on your journey, 'Welcome To Reality (Part 2)', will appear in your Day Plan in four days.

See you then!
