Summary: Investing int the fruit of faithfulness.

Step 1

Read Galatians 5:22-23:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Are you ready to make an investment in the Fruit of Faithfulness?

Step 2

Read Galatians 2:20:

'I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.'

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 3

What sacrifices has God been asking you to make? Be specific.

Write your answer in the space provided.

Step 4

Go to 'DOCUMENTS' and read Oswald Chambers' comments on Galatians 2:20.

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 5

Oswald states:

"Think what faith in Jesus Christ claims and provides— He can present us faultless before the throne of God, inexpressibly pure, absolutely righteous, and absolutely justified. Stand in absolute adoring faith “in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God— and righteousness and sanctification and redemption..."'

Take a few moments to imagine yourself before the throne of God being presented as:

-Completely Without Fault or Blame
-Inexpressibly Pure
-Absolutely Righteous
-Justified (fully approved, valued, recognized and loved)

Give this Step everything you've got, then choose the response below that best describes your ability to imagine yourself receiving Christ's eternal gifts.

Step 6

What does it mean to you that one day, by your faith and trust in Christ alone, you will be the recipient of these miraculous, supernatural and eternal gifts?

Write your answer in the space provided.

Step 7

Oswald continues:

"Think who the New Testament says Jesus Christ is, and then think of the despicable meagerness of the miserable faith we exhibit by saying, “I haven’t had this experience or that experience”... How dare we talk of making a sacrifice for the Son of God! We are saved from hell and total destruction, and then we talk about making sacrifices!"

Is there anything you would like to repent of? If so, you can do so privately or in the space provided.

Step 8

Oswald observes:

'We must continually focus and firmly place our faith in Jesus Christ— not a “prayer meeting” Jesus Christ, or a “book” Jesus Christ, but the New Testament Jesus Christ, who is God Incarnate, and who ought to strike us dead at His feet.'

In all honesty, how much power do you believe Jesus has over your current circumstances? Over the eternal consequences of your soul?

Step 9

Oswald goes on to state:

'Our faith must be in the One from whom our salvation springs. Jesus Christ wants our absolute, unrestrained devotion to Himself...Our faith must be built on strong determined confidence in Him.'

Is there anything you would like to ask of God? If so you can do privately, or in the space provided.

Step 10

Oswald concludes:

'All of our fears are sinful, and we create our own fears by refusing to nourish ourselves in our faith. How can anyone who is identified with Jesus Christ suffer from doubt or fear! Our lives should be an absolute hymn of praise resulting from perfect, irrepressible, triumphant belief.'

Take time now to praise and worship your Lord and Savior. You can do so privately, or in the space provided.

Step 11

Pray

Ask God to speak to you, to lead you down His path of righteousness.

If you wish, you can write down what you receive in the space provided.

Step 12

How much has this Trail helped to increase your level of faith?
