Summary: Investing in the fruit of kindness.

Step 1

Read Galatians 5:22-23:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Are you ready to make an investment in the Fruit of Kindness?

Step 2

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21:

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

Take a moment to allow this verse to penetrate, then select 'Successful'.

Step 3

For a good look at what it looks like to be given a new life in Christ, go to 'VIDEO' and watch the clip.

Select 'successful' when you are finished.

Step 4

Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you about the verse in 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 and the video.

Journal anything you believe He is showing you.

(Note: if you don't hear anything, no problem. Write down your thoughts and observations.)

Step 5

Can you think of a specific action(s) you can take to show your adoration toward God? (Don't overthink this, you can do something very simple if you wish.)

If you like, you can write what you're going to do in the space provided.

Step 6

Is there something you would like to confess before God?

You can do so in private, or use the space provided.

Step 7

Is there something you would like to ask of God? If so, do it now.

Again, you can do so in private, or use the space provided.

Step 8

How much did this task add to your understanding of God's kindness?
